Rental Agreement
Please read the following agreement carefully. This is a legally binding document that outlines the terms and conditions of your rental with Go Rent A Ride.
Terms & Conditions
Term of Agreement:
The Agreement shall commence on the Start Date & Time or when Driver takes possession of the Vehicle, and remains in effect until the Vehicle is returned to Owner.
Rental Price:
Driver shall pay the agreed Daily Rental Price, inclusive of insurance and transaction fees, plus any additional charges such as mileage overages, damage, fines, penalties, or other fees incurred during the Rental Period.
Security Deposit:
Driver may be required to pay a refundable Security Deposit. The deposit will be applied toward any balance due at the end of the Rental Period, including replacement costs for lost keys.
Authorized Drivers:
Only the Driver named in this Agreement may operate the Vehicle. Unauthorized use may result in liability for damages and voiding of insurance.
Insurance:
Insurance coverage is provided by the Owner or a designated policy and applies only during the Rental Period. Coverage details shall be communicated prior to the rental.
Vehicle Use Restrictions:
The Vehicle may not be used for illegal purposes, racing, towing, off-road driving, or transport of hazardous materials. Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are prohibited in the Vehicle. Out-of-state travel or exceeding 150 miles per day is strictly prohibited. Living in the vehicle is not permitted and may lead to immediate termination of the rental.
Return of Vehicle:
The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received (normal wear and tear excepted), with the same fuel level, and at the agreed location. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

Payments & Late Fees:
Daily payments are due at midnight each day. A $10 late fee is assessed per day for overdue invoices. Late payments may also result in engine disablement via GPS tracker, subject to a $30 reconnection fee.
Promotions & Credits:
Promotions and coupons are available after 7 days of continuous rental. Credits must be used on the same day they are issued; late payment voids the credit and may incur a late fee.
Maintenance & Repairs:
All issues, no matter how minor, must be reported immediately to the Owner’s Customer Support line. Driver must not attempt repairs. All repairs go through Owner’s approved shops. Failure to comply may result in termination.
Travel Restrictions:
Driver must stay within a 100-mile radius of Charlotte, NC, within NC or SC. Unauthorized out-of-state travel will incur a $200 fee and may lead to contract termination. Specific restricted areas include: Mount Airy (north), Columbia SC (south), Greensboro (east), and Greenville SC (west).
Vehicle Monitoring:
Vehicles may include GPS or telematics devices. Driver consents to their use. The system may disable the engine if boundaries are exceeded or payments are late.
Vehicle Condition & Cleanliness:
Driver must keep the Vehicle clean. Smoking in the Vehicle incurs a $150 fee and may result in immediate termination. Failure to maintain cleanliness may result in cancellation of this Agreement.
Tolls & Fines:
Driver is responsible for all tolls, tickets, fines, and penalties incurred during the Rental Period.
Accidents:
In the event of an accident, Driver must call 911 immediately and notify Owner. Insurance claims require a police report; failure to report may void coverage.
Return Policy:
Driver must provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to return. Returning after 10:00am may incur an additional day’s charge. Failure to comply may affect return of deposit.
Termination:
Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately in the event of nonpayment, fraudulent behavior, illegal activity, living in the vehicle, or breach of contract.

Indemnification & Liability:
Driver shall indemnify and hold Owner harmless against any loss, damage, or liability arising from use of the Vehicle, except in cases of Owner’s gross negligence or misconduct.
Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes under this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in the jurisdiction where the Vehicle is registered, unless otherwise required by law.
Entire Agreement:
This document represents the entire understanding between the Owner and Driver and supersedes all prior agreements.
By proceeding with the rental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Rental Agreement.
